Iridescent has developed internet, intranet and bespoke solutions for a broad range of business problems. An overview of some of these solutions is presented below.
Intranet, Extranet and Corporate projects
The Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS)
.NET Intranet System Development and Technical Consultancy. Iridescent was retained to design and build a new .NET Intranet system to administer the Payback campaign for DACS. The existing Payback legacy system was upsized onto SQL Server 2000 and the new system integrated fully with the existing database to leverage the time and expense already directed into the project.
The new Payback solution allows rapid modelling of dividend distribution and automates the process of issuing payments as well as creating remittance statements.
Accenture
Architecture and development consultancy. Iridescent provide technical consultancy to Accenture for Microsoft development projects. This has included the formulation of standard development practices and architectures and assistance in their implementation.
Southern Glasshouse Produce (SGP) Limited
Project Management, bespoke software development and strategic IT planning. SGP is the largest flower grower in the UK. Iridescent is managing a number of technical projects targeted primarily at implementing fully-electronic communication between SGP and its customers.
Iridescent's responsibilities include liaising with all third-party contacts, developing middleware components to facilitate the communications solutions, rolling out VPN connectivity across SGP's sites in the UK and Europe, IT audit and strategic IT review.
National Osteoporosis Society
Bespoke informational CD development. Iridescent is consulting with the NOS regarding the production of a CD for distribution to GP's that will aid in the process of administering patients presenting with HRT or Osteoporosis-related symptoms.
Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust
Indexer and IriDisseminator Implementations. THPCT has integrated the Indexer product into their existing Intranet to easily organise all their document and URL-based information. Iridescent was retained to code-review and update the intranet during this process.
THPCT is also trialling the IriDisseminator product in a number of GP's around the area. Iridescent has been retained to support all THPCT's internal and public web sites.
